UPDATE: Troopers reveal name of victim in fatal Lewes crash

The Delaware State Police have released the name of the motorcyclist killed in the motor vehicle crash Monday evening in Lewes.

Troopers say 48-year-old Bryan Angle, of Pocopson, Pennsylvania died on scene after 49-year-old Brian Donohue, of Ocean View failed to remain stopped at the stop sign and entered into the intersection of John J. Williams Highway and into the path Angle who was traveling westbound on a motorcycle.  Angle, who was not wearing a helmet, reportedly attempted to avoid the collision but struck the left side of the pick-up truck, ejecting him into the roadway. Donohue sustained no injuries in the crash.

Investigators believe alcohol played a factor in this accident and charges are pending.

Troopers will be back at the scene of the crash Tuesday morning to continue their investigation. Travelers in the area should expect some periodic lane closures around 9:00 A.M.
