UPDATE: Suspect in custody for alleged bank robbery in Salisbury

A suspect is reportedly in custody after an alleged bank robbery in Salisbury.
Salisbury Police tell 47 ABC that on Tuesday morning, just before 10:00 AM a man walked into the PNC Bank on West Isabella Street, demanded money, and later fled. Police were apparently able to catch up with the suspect near the Parsons and Mitchell Road by 10:25 AM. There were reportedly no weapons involved, and no injuries reported.
Police are still not releasing the name of that suspect at this time, only that it was a single male suspect, who is a Salisbury resident. Other details are limited, stay tuned to 47 ABC and 47ABC.com for the latest.
The Wicomico County Public Schools tell 47 ABC that Pemberton Elementary was on “safe in place” during the ordeal, but that has since been lifted.
