UPDATE: DSP make arrest in Cheswold Royal Farms robbery

Police say they have arrested a robbery suspect, after an employee of the business that was robbed reportedly recognized him.

Delaware State Police say on Wednesday around 6:00 PM, Trooper responded to the parking lot of Royal Farms on Fast Landing Road. According to the report, an employee of the Royal Farms recognized someone who was sitting in a parked car, as the possible suspect in the robbery that happened at the convenience store, back on April 27.

Police say they quickly apprehended 47-year-old Craig Roundtree, of Newark, and were able to link him to the robbery. He was charged with robbery 1st degree, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, and conspiracy 3rd degree.

Roundtree is now behind bars at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $68,000 cash bond. Police say they are still looking into identifying the driver of the vehicle that Roundtree got into while fleeing.
