UPDATE: Authorities release new details in Salisbury murder

Police are releasing new details after the murder of a 27-year-old Salisbury man.
Investigators say the cause of death was a gunshot and the manner is homicide.
James Skinner was found lying in the doorway of his home on Bryn Mawr Avenue shortly after 3:00 AM on Sunday. Police say they now know he has lived at the address for the past two months and the homeowner is a friend of his family.
Both the homeowner and her teenage daughter were reportedly home during the murder. The homeowner reportedly called police when she found Skinner.
Investigators say they believe that there were multiple suspects at least one of them was armed and some type of confrontation happened before the murder. At this time, there have been no arrests.
Greg Shipley, the Office of Media Communications Director, says, “We are certainly asking the community for their help if they know anything to call police but anytime there is someone out there who has committed a murder this is cause for concern.”
