Trooper injured in bypass crash

Around 9:30 P.M. Tuesday, Maryland State Police responded to a report of a crash involving a state trooper on the Route 13 Bypass near Northwood Drive.
Maryland State Police say one trooper was taken to the hospital via ambulance from the scene. The officer on duty at the Salisbury Barrack says the trooper did sustain injuries which he says are non-life threatening and the car was damaged.
Troopers say areas of the bypass experienced slow-moving traffic at the time of the incident. The investigation is reportedly ongoing.
