Three arrested in connection to burglary in Pittsville

Three Marylanders were arrested on Saturday, after they reportedly were found to have robbed a Pittsville home.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says during the day on May 6, a home on Friendship Road was burglarized, with several items taken including household electronics and coins.

During an investigation into the incident, a Deputy says they found the missing property at area pawn shops. The items had reportedly been sold to the businesses right after the burglary.

On Saturday, Deputies say they arrested 25-year-old Clayton Carlton, of Pocomoke, 21-year-old Abigail Finch, of Annapolis, and 24-year-old Kevin Melson Jr., of Stockton. All three were charged with burglary 1st degree, and theft $1,00 to $10,000. Carlton and Finch are behind bars on $20,000 bonds, while Melson is on a $40,000 bond.
