Sovero delivers winner as SSPP knocks off Easton

Senior attack Matt Sovero scored the game winning goal for Saint Peter and Paul as they defeated rival Easton to take the Bull Roast helmet, 11-10.

Easton led 4-2 with just over 10 minutes before half, thanks to two early goals by Ian Godlee. SSPP was able to cut that lead to one (5-4) before going into halftime. A close game throughout the contest, Easton would take a 8-6 lead late into the third before the Sabres mounted their comeback.

The teams remained tied at 10 late in the fourth quarter when Sovero, a Towson commit, was able to get a late goal.
