Savannah Miles Pitches Her Way To Being A Regional Champion

The Easton Warriors softball team is coming off a huge upset over North Caroline and looked to keep the momentum going into their regional championship game Friday afternoon against Harford Tech.

Offense wins games, but defense wins championships and today both teams were ready to put up a fight to win this regional championship game. Both pitchers from Easton and from Harford Tech showed out on the field today with solid performances not allowing any runs through five innings. Easton got their bats moving getting on base for the first time in the game after a hit-less three innings. Harford Tech got out of the fourth with a controversial play at first base leaving two Easton runners on first and second.

The Warriors would keep on pushing and Savannah Miles pitched a no-hitter with 12 strike outs on the day.

Easton walked away with a 1-0 victory over Harford Tech and the Warriors are your regional champions!
