Salisbury University Men’s Lacrosse Takes Home 19th CAC Title

The Salisbury University men’s lacrosse team took the field at Sea Gull Stadium and won their 19th CAC Tournament Title after taking down Frostburg State on Saturday afternoon.

The Gulls and Bobcats last meeting turned into an 8-7 win for the Gulls in overtime. However, SU was ready to make sure their second meeting would be as close as their first. The Gulls scored their first goal within the first minute of the game and they would add another five goals before the half to take a 6-2 lead heading into the halftime break. The second half was no different for the Gulls who put away another 8 while holding the Bobcats to just 3 in the second half.

Defensively, Connor Anderson had a career day for the Gulls with the most saves in a single game – recording 16 saves in today’s win over the Bobcats. Offensively, Carson Kalama led his team with 4 goals on the day – four shots on goal and all four went in for the Gulls.

The Sea Gulls take home their 19th CAC championship with a 14-5 win over the Bobcats.
