Salisbury PD investigating Hancock Fabrics robbery

The Salisbury Police Department says they responded to a call around 12:40 p.m. in regards to a report of a robbery at Hancock Fabrics. Police are also investigating a similar incident occurred on May 19, 2015, with a suspect with a similar description.

Police say the suspect entered the store and walked around, before walking up to the cash register. Investigators say the suspect waited for other customers to complete their transactions, before coming up to the register and demanding money. Police say the suspect tried to cover half of his face by pulling up his t-shirt, revealing a knife in his waist band. 

Investigators say the man got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as a white male, approximately 5’05”-5’06″and 25-28 years old. Police say he has a pale complexion, with a goatee and dark hair pulled back in a pony tail.
