Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce among “Chamber Challenge” finalists

The Maryland Small Business Week Awards Program has announced the finalists for this year’s Chamber Challenge, and the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce is among them.

The Chamber Challenge sought to find the state’s top three most small business friendly chambers. Finalists were determined through an online voting poll where members could vote for their chambers. Five chambers were selected as finalists.

Ernie Coulburn, the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce CEO and president says, “From our perspective we’ve already won, by virtue of the response from our businesses with our nearly 850 members. Over seventy percent are small businesses. We’re really humbled and honored to get this recognition.”

The top three chambers will be honored at the 31st annual Maryland Small Business Week Awards luncheon in Baltimore on Friday.
