Princess Anne Town Commissioner accused of leaving scene of accident

A Princess Anne Town Commissioner has reportedly had another run in with the law.
A spokes person with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore tells 47 ABC that on April 24 around 8:00 AM, Campus Police started investigating an accident that happened in the parking lot of the Richard A. Henson Center. During the incident, there was reportedly no one hurt.
According to the report, a woman told Police that a 2001 white Dodge Ram 1500 hit her vehicle. That vehicle was apparently later found to have been driven by Lionel Frederick II. Police say Frederick left the scene to take a test. He was then issued a citation for failure of (a) vehicle driver to stop after unattended vehicle (was) damage(d)/accident. Officials say this is a must appear citation, which transfers the charge to the local district court. No word yet on a court date.
Back in December, Frederick entered an Alford Plea for two assault charges, related to a September 2014 incident, where Frederick was accused of macing a man before chasing him in his car. He was then sentenced to 100 hours of community service, and given a no contact order.
Frederick is still listed on the Town of Princess Anne website as a Commissioner At Large, with a term that will expire in 2018.
