Police search for bank robbery suspect in Princess Anne

Members from the Princess Anne Police Department say they responded to a call at the PNC Bank on Mt. Vernon Road in reference to a robbery that occurred just before 4:00 P.M. on Thursday.
Police say one suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. Reports say the suspect did not display a weapon, but he claimed he did have one. According to the police report, the suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money from the bank and left.
Police say the suspect is a white male between approximately 5’8″ and 5’9″, thin build and wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt. Police ask anyone with information concerning the robbery contact the Princess Anne Police Department at 410-651-1822.
