Police: Man tries to rob pizza delivery driver

State police say someone tried to rob a pizza delivery driver in Bear.

Police say the driver was standing outside the rear of Marino’s Pizzeria, where he works, on Friday afternoon when a man approached him. The man implied he was armed and demanded money from the employee. The driver refused and began to walk toward the rear entrance of the business.

Police say the assailant followed the employee and tried to reach into the employee’s rear pants pocket. Police say no money or property was stolen, and the assailant fled. No one was injured.
