Police charge drunk driver for Worcester County crash

Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack say they have charged a Delaware man with a single vehicle crash in Showell after suspicion of him being impaired.

Reports say Sunday at about 10:00 PM, 51-year-old Timothy Hudson, of Frankford, was driving northbound on Route 589, when he traveled off the road trying to navigate a sharp 90 degree turn. The vehicle reportedly traveled through a fence, and came to a stop after hitting a tree. The driver and only occupant was transported to PRMC for treatment. During the course of the investigation, troopers detected and odor of alcoholic on his breath. Hudson blood alcohol content confirmed troopers suspensions and lead to to his arrest.

Hudson was charged with with DUI and DWI.
