Mother’s Day Facebook scam

While it’s wonderful to celebrate Mother’s Day, the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is warning folks about a Facebook trend that’s been going around in celebration of the holiday.    

According to the sheriff’s office, mothers are putting their children’s names, due dates, and birthdates on their Facebook pages.

Authorities say releasing this information can lead to child identity theft, which is apparently on the rise.

They say if you have posted any personal information about your children or even yourself, please edit it or delete it all together.
