May 12 – Harriet Tubman Golf Classic

The first ever Harriet Tubman Golf Classic Weekend will be held in Cambridge, Maryland from September 17th-20th. Officials are so excited to bring the local community information and presenters from all over Maryland for this event.

April Williams of the Governors Office of Minority Affairs , Rosemarie Rhodes, Director of the Office of Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, Baltimore Neighborhoods, Inc, League of Women Voters of Mid-Shore, Erica Henry of YMCA of Cambridge,Purnell Flamer of DriDock Recovery and Wellness Center, any many more. All on the first day which again is dedicated to meet the needs of the local community.

On Friday September 18th officials are planning a 10K Walk/ Run  and have invited Black Girls Run of Baltimore/DC and Southern Maryland and any runners who want to partake of the fun.

On Saturday September 19th their will be a 3 tours for visitors to Cambridge,to visit the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway, then they all going to converge on the “Rod and Gun Club Crab Fest” at Sailwinds Park at 3pm.

Finally going to play golf at the Hyatt Regency on Sunday September 20th to end our 1st Annual Harriet Tubman Golf Classic Weekend.
