Matusiewicz trial update

David Matusiewicz, the son of a Wilmington courthouse shooter is trying to limit evidence in his upcoming trial on federal cyberstalking charges.

Matusiewicz’s public defenders filed motions today trying to prohibit prosecutors from submitting evidence such as courthouse surveillance tapes.

A document, which prosecutors assert is a hit list, was found in the car of David’s father.

In 2013 David’s father Thomas Matuciewicz shot and killed Belford and her friend before turning the gun on himself.

Prosecutors allege that leading up to the shooting the Matuciewicz family conspired to torment and stalk Belford following their divorce.
