Lady Vikings knock out North Caroline

The fourth-seeded Cambridge South Dorchester Vikings girls lacrosse team used a strong offensive second half performance to take down #5 North Caroline 11-5, and advance to the Section two semifinal.

Leading 5-3, the Vikings decided to pad that lead when Hannah Taylor and Micah Slacum went back to back to give CSD a 7-3 lead. Maddie LaClair would give an answer for North Caroline, scoring and cutting the lead to 4. After trading goals, the Vikings would put it away with three unanswered to close things up.

The Vikings advance to face the #1 seed Queen Anne’s in the regional semifinal, that game is set for Friday in Centreville, MD.
