Kent Island Rolls Decatur For Bayside Title

The Kent Island boys lacrosse team repeated as Bayside Champs Tuesday night with a 13-5 win over Stephen Decatur. Both teams will now prepare for the state playoffs.

The Buccaneers would strike first, scoring 3 quick goals in the first quarter. The Seahawks would then fight their way back, after Corey Gwin would score from the left side to make it a 2 goal game. Kent Island continued to push though, and would quickly build a 5 goal lead. The lead held in the second half, as the Bucs would go on and take the win.

The Bucs will now face Parkside on May 8th, while Stephen Decatur will play will host Bennett on the 8th as well.
