Indians’ offense erupts in Georgetown

The Indian River boys lacrosse team got their third win of the season, catching fire to the tune to a 15-2 win over Sussex Central Tuesday afternoon in Georgetown.
IR jumped out to a quick 5-0 win in the first quarter, and led by a score of 8-1 at the half. After scoring just two goals in the third quarter, the Indians reeled off five more to run away with the win.
Sophomore George Martin led IR with a game-high 5 goals, and freshman Wyatt Kovatch scored 4 times. Josh Lucido also put three goals in the back of the net for the Indians. Nicolas Perez Urzua had two assists.
IR hosts Wilmington Christian Friday, while Sussex Central travels to Red Lion in both teams final games of the season.
