Holly Grove Softball Soars Past Salisbury Christian In Championship

The Salisbury Christian Jaguars played host to the Holly Grove Eagles for the PACC Championship title game on Thursday afternoon.

The Jaguars would get on the board first taking a 1-0 lead, but the Eagles would rally back and score 5 runs in the bottom of the second taking a 5-1 lead. Salisbury Christian came back looking to get some runs, but left runners on second and third in the third inning keeping the score at 5-1. However, the Eagles were just getting started as they would add six runs in the bottom of the third taking an 11-1 lead.

Salisbury Christian would fight their way to hold off the slotter rule win for Holly Grove, but they could not get their bats moving like the Eagles.

Holly Grove takes the PACC championship title, 16-5, the final.
