Hardy, N. Dorchester Softball Upset Pocomoke

It was the Jessica Hardy show Thursday afternoon in Pocomoke, as her North Dorchester Eagles came into Pocomoke and left with a victory.

The Warriors saw their early 3-2 lead vanish after the North Dorchester’s Tori Henry sac fly scored Jessica Hardy from third base.

From there the Eagles wouldn’t look back.

A 2-RBI triple from McKenzie Beauchamp shortened the gap to four, but with two-outs in the seventh, Hardy shut the door on the Warrior’s comeback attempt, sending her Eagles on to the next round of the Bayside Conference Playoffs.

North Dorchester will play No. 1 seed Mardela on the road on Monday (5/11).
