Golden Krust Beef Patties recalled for missed allergen label

A local grocery chain says they have removed a product from their shelves, but to an ingredient being left off the label.

Giant Food says Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill has recalled several products, that eggs were used in, but not included in the product’s ingredient label. Officials say the products are safe to eat for those without an egg allergy or sensitivity, but those with one could have a reaction.

The following products are included in this recall:
· Golden Krust Beef Patties, 10 oz., UPC 72113470025 with expiration dates of 1/24/15 through 2/26/16
· Golden Krust Beef Patties, 10 oz., UPC 72113470024 with expiration dates of 1/24/15 through 2/26/16

Those who have purchased the product should throw away any unused portions, and bring their original receipt back to Giant for a full refund.
