Four arrested in alleged Harrington burglary

Four men are behind bars following a burglary investigation in Harrington.

According to authorities 21-year old Richard Seymore, 19-year old Brian Pogats, 22-year old Brian Melvin, and 19-year-old Christopher Schroeder allegedly forced entry into Stone’s Bar on Mechanic Street.

Police say building was still vacant due to damage from a February fire.

Authorities believe the suspects stole alcohol which was later sold.

All four suspects were committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute.

They were each charged with Burglary Second Degree, Possession of Burglar Tools, Conspiracy Second Degree, Theft under $1,500 and Criminal Mischief under $1,000.  All four were arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 7 and all four subjects were committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute in default of secured bond.
