Easton Takes Home The ‘Ship!

The Easton boys lacrosse team was looking to cap off a great season being state champions. The Warriors got off to a slow start, but as the game continued, the team found their rhythm and began to play Easton lacrosse as we all have seen this season.

Southern came out with a big 3-0 lead, but the Warriors would start to close that gap in the second quarter. The Warriors got back within one goal after scoring two goals within 22 seconds in the 2nd quarter. Easton picked up the second half right where they left off in the first half, scoring the game-tying goal just 16 seconds into the second half. Shortly following the tying goal, the Bulldogs put one away to take the lead back, 4-3. However, the Warriors put themselves up 2 goals after three quarters with a 6-4 lead over Southern.

Easton continued to keep pushing – adding another two goals securing their victory, 8-4, and the Warriors are your 2015 State Champions!
