Easton man arrested on burglary and arson charges

An Easton man is behind bars, in connection to a halloween 2014 burglary and fire.
Easton Police say on Saturday, they made an arrest in connection to an October 31, 2014 incident. Police say on that halloween night, Officers responded to a home on Corbin Parkway, for reports of a man who had already been removed from the property, returning.
Once on scene, Police say they found an open window that the suspect, 22-year-old Ricky Ford II, had gone through, to get into the home. Once inside, Ford reportedly damaged the house, and started a fire in the bathtub. Damages were estimated at more than $6,300.
On Saturday, Ford was arrested, and charged with burglary 1st, 3rd, and 4th degree, arson 1st degree, malicious burning 1st degree, malicious destruction of property greater than $1,000, and theft less than $1,000. He is now being held at the Talbot County Detention Center on a $60,000 bond.
