Easton Goes Back To The State Finals
The Easton Warriors were coming off of a no-hitter performance by senior pitcher, Savannah Miles, who took the mound looking to help her team back to the state championships.
Miles opened things up for the Warriors in the top of the first inning with an RBI single to make the score 1-0. Both teams were silent up till the top of 4th inning when the Warriors put up another three runs to extend their lead to 4-0. Lansdowne got on the board late in the game to make it 4-1, but Easton would strike again. The Warriors scored seven runs in the top of the fifth with nine singles putting them up 11 -1 and would close out the game after five innings with a slotter rule win.
The Warriors are headed back to the state finals yet again, looking to avenge last years upset. Easton will be taking on Middletown on Saturday at 4:30 pm.
