Easton girls lax captures Golden Stick, routs SSPP

Attack Emma Skoglund and midfielder Ellie Roser combined for eight goals as the Easton girls lacrosse team defeated St. Peter and St. Paul 17-4 to capture the coveted trophy of the Bull Roast rivalry, The Golden Stick.

Easton got off to a hot start, leading 8-0 at the half, and used an attacking formation and great defense in the second half to take the win. Tatum Crouch, Isabelle Walsh, Stephanie Miller and Bailey Olds all scored two goals a piece, with Olds adding 5 assists. Molly Oertel also added a goal for Easton.

Shelby Lehman led the Sabres with two goals, with Sarah Paul and Megan Hickey scoring one goal a piece.
