Delmar Rolls DMA, Advances To Semis

The Delmar softball team advanced to the state semifinals Tuesday after they defeated Delaware Military Academy 10-0. The Wildcats will now face No. 4 Polytech.
The Wildcats wasted no time going to work in this one, plating a couple runs in the bottom of the first. The lead would then stretch to 3-0 after Rachel Davis his a slow rolled to 3rd, that Kyra Webb would score off of. The lead would be pushed to 4-0 and would hold going into the 5th thanks to a dominate performance on the bump from Alexis Layton. There the Wildcats would stretch their lead even further after Savannah Brown got a RBI single to shallow left. That was followed by a 2 RBI double down the third base line that was smoked from Alison Pusey. Delmar would not slow from there, as they would go on to mercy rule the Seahawks.
