Delmar man accused of stabbing another

A Delmar man is behind bars, after he reportedly stabbed someone with a utility knife.
The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on May 8 around 7:30 PM, a Deputy responded to a home on Virginia Avenue, where they met with a man who had been cut across the chest, and was bleeding.
According to the report, 50-year-old Robert Cornish had walked up to the victim, looking upset, and then cut him with a utility knife.
Cornish was then arrested, and charged with assault 1st and 2nd degree, and reckless endangerment. He is now in the custody of the Wicomico County Detention Center, on a $100,000 bond.
