Decatur Girls Lax Stay Perfect, Advance to Regional Semi’s

The Stephen Decatur girls remained perfect on the year with a big 17-2 win Friday night against Bennett. The Clippers advance to play in the regional semifinals.

The Seahawks would jump out to a quick lead after getting goals from several different players. Blair Yesko would find Logan Figgs in transition for a score as the lead would reach double figures. The Clippers would do everything they could to try and hang tough. Allie O’Leary would score to set the school record with 152 career goals. But the Seahawks just kept coming. Hallie Edmonds would add another transition goal mid way through the second half to put the game away for Decatur.
