Child dead in crash involving motorcycle in Md.

Police say a child is dead and others injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and pedestrians in Prince George’s County.

Prince George’s County fire department spokesman Mark Brady says the crash happened Saturday around 4 p.m. in the 3500 block of East West Highway in Hyattsville.

County police say the motorcycle appears to have been approaching an entrance to a mall when it struck a car, then hit the child and two others who were pedestrians.

The accident is under investigation.
