Cape Boys Lacrosse Headed Back To State Semi’s

The Cape Boys lacrosse team is headed back to the state semifinals after they Vikings defeated Archmere 11-9 Saturday afternoon. The Vikings will now face Caesar Rodney.

The Vikings came out the gates red hot in this one. Hank Coveleski, Robert Neal and Eric Stephane Stancofski would each find the back of the net to help Cape to a quick 5-0 lead. Chris Argo would do his part to help keep his team in the lead, coming up with several nice saves on the back end of the defense. Eventually though, the Auks would find their footing.  Collin Duffy would score 4 times as Archmere mounted a comeback in the second half. The Vikings would be able to hold on though, and close it out for the win.
