Cambridge PD investigate shooting

Cambridge Police are investigating a shooting that happened on the 700 block of Cornish Drive.

According to Lieutenant Justin Todd, a public information officer with Cambridge Police, the shooting happened around midnight Sunday.

We’re told one male victim, believed to be in his early 20’s, was shot in the leg. Police say he was airlifted to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where he was treated and released.

According to Lieutenant Todd, there were several shell casings found the site of shooting; however, there is no suspect in custody at this time.
