Cambridge baseball gets shutout win over Washington

Michael Elliott and Joe Daugherty combined to pitch a three hit shutout, as Cambridge moved on to the regional semifinals, defeating Washington 3-0.

Elliott posted eight strikeouts, while Daugherty finished with 7. Nathan Lowe posted an RBI triple to get the Vikings offense going in the bottom of the third inning.

Cambridge advances to the regional semifinal where they will host fifth seed Mardela. Game time is set for Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm in Cambridge.
