Bennett’s Bocce Ball Team Is Headed To States

As the spring season begins to wind down, several teams will be looking to win a state title. The bocce ball team on the James Bennett High School campus is headed to States taking place on Friday (assuming there are no rain cancellations).

This bocce ball team was formed under the Unified Athletic Program – a program that brings together students with special needs combined with the student body to form a team. The Bennett bocce ball team is in its 7th year of existence and this is the first time in program history that this team is headed to States.

This is a phenomenal group of young athletes and we will keep you posted on their results this weekend. Regardless of wins and losses, this team has done an incredible job on and off the field as a team – they are truly inspiring to be around.
