Another Delaware drug lab employee reaches plea deal

Another former employee at the state drug lab in Delaware has had charges dropped as part of a plea deal.

According to reports, the felony charges against James Woodson were dropped on Monday. In return, Woodson reportedly pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful dissemination of criminal history and he pleaded no contest to official misconduct.

Woodson was a courier initially facing felony charges stemming from an incident in which he allegedly removed cocaine from an evidence bag. Woodson was sentenced to a year of house arrest.

Earlier this month, prosecutors also dropped the remaining charges against the other drug lab employee Farnam Daneshgar.
