Afterback and forth affair, Easton pulls away from QA

The Easton boys lacrosse team advanced to the second round of the Maryland state playoffs, defeating Queen Anne’s 16-4 Friday afternoon.
Trent Witte got the game started with a goal just a minute and 15 seconds in. The Warriors then began to go back and forth with the Lions, in fact Queen Anne’s would only trail 5-3 after one quarter. The Warriors’ scorers would get going late in the second quarter and on to the second half, eventually pushing the lead to 10 (13-3) and forcing a running clock.
The Warriors will host rival Cambridge Monday at 5:30 for a chance to appear in the regional final.
