2 arrested after shots fired outside party in Del.

The Delaware State Police says two people were arrested after shots were fired outside a party in New Castle.

State Police says it happened Friday around 11:30 p.m. after the two men attempted to enter a party being held at the Dance Works Dance Studio on Christiana Road. State Police say the men, a 17-year-old and 20-year-old Quadere Wilson, both of New Castle, were denied entry to the party multiple times and told to leave.

State Police say the 17-year-old then pulled out a handgun and began shooting. He was arrested and charged with several firearm possession charges as well as reckless endangering and other charges. The Associated Press does not identify juveniles accused of crimes.

Wilson was charged with underage possession or consumption of alcohol and disorderly conduct.
