While not at DelDOT, Westhoff & son build pirate ship for Harrington Family

Jim Westhoff is usually making headlines for DelDOT storm preparation, but he is dedicating this week to something entirely different.

Westhoff and his son, Rob, are building a pirate ship playhouse for a Harrington family.

Westhoff says Rob and his son built one for his five-year-old daughter two summers ago, using their own ideas and no plans, and other families fell in love with the idea and began to reach out.

Their plan is to use pictures and video from the construction of this ship to create a website where they will provide tutorials for people who want to build their own.
