UPDATE: Water now safe for drinking in Crisfield

Following a water main break, authorities in Crisfield say the water is now drinkable.

City of Crisfield says they sampled various locations on Thursday and Friday throughout the city and they all showed that the quality of water was not impacted by the outage.

On Saturday, Mayor Lawson, reportedly notified businesses that the boil advisory had been lifted.

The water outage started overnight in Wednesday into Thursday morning, and water was expected to be safe by midnight Sunday.
