UPDATE: Quantico house fire ruled accidental

A Wednesday afternoon house fire in Quantico, has been ruled as accidental.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire, that started just after 2:10 PM outside of a vacant one story home on Royal Oak Road, was started by sparks from torch repair work that ignited nearby combustibles.
After a neighbor discovered the blaze, 15 firefighters responded to the scene from Westside, Hebron, and Mardela, and had the flames under control in a little over 5 minutes.
Total damages to the structure are estimated at $50,000.
