UPDATE: Early morning barn fire in Felton ruled accidental

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office has reportedly found that a barn fire near Felton early Friday morning, was accidental.

Reports say the Felton Community Fire Company responded to the 1200 block of Sandtown Road shortly after 1:30 AM. When firefighters arrived, reports say they encountered a 40×60 foot barn up in flames.

No injuries have been reported, and the cause of this fire has been ruled as accidental. An investigation by Deputy Fire Marshals reportedly found that  faulty electrical wiring inside the building, sparked the blaze. 

Fire officials say the estimate damaged of the blaze is about $25,000.
