SU Pitching Leads The Way For The Gulls

The Salisbury University softball team is looking to have, yet another, historic season and they are well on their way. The Sea Gulls have – Colonel Richardson grad, Rachel Johnson, and Pocomoke native, Annah Brittingham – to thank for some of their defensive success.

Saturday, Rachel Johnson pitched her 7th career perfect game – to put things into perspective, the Gulls have only 12 perfect games recorded in softball program history. Annah Brittingham followed up Johnson’s performance with a one-hitter of her own.

The Gulls have high expectations for their season and have their eyes set on a national championship. Here is an inside look by, Spenser Tilus, at the recipe to the Gulls success this season.
