SU participates in recycling competition

Earth day may be over but that doesn’t mean you should stop recycling and being environmentally conscious.
Students at Salisbury University teamed up on Thursday to prove how much plastic they could recycle as part of Recycle Madness. It’s part of a ten-week, nationwide competition called Recycle Mania where around 400 colleges compete to see who can collect the most amount of recycling.
This year students at Salisbury managed to collect 6,438 pounds of material and a total of 37 student organizations participated.
