Ravens Take Down Host Wildcats In Henlopen Matchup

The Sussex Tech High School boy’s lacrosse team traveled to Delmar Friday afternoon to take a 12-3 road victory in Henlopen play. The Ravens move to 6-3 for the season, while the Wildcats fall to 5-4.

Tech jumped out early in this one, taking a 6-0 lead into the half, a lead it wouldn’t surrender for the entirety of the game. Opening the second half, Delmar looked to cut the deficit scoring in the first two minutes. Drew Blewitt found teammate Jeremy Haynes for the first Wildcats’ goal of the game.

But the Ravens were too much in this one, as Nathan Quillin found Travis Quillin for the left-side finish to cut any momentum Delmar tried to gain.

Tech travels back home for a game against Lake Forest on Monday at 5:30 p.m., while the Wildcats hit the road to North Caroline on Monday at 4 p.m.
