Quantico house fire under investigation

Maryland State Fire Marshals say a house fire is under investigation in Wicomico County. Authorities say the vacant Quantico home, on the 22000 block of Royal Oak Road, caught fire around 2:10 PM on Wednesday.
According to the notice of investigation, a neighbor noticed flames on the exterior part of the home. The report says the fire was under control in about six minutes, with 15 firefighters responding from Westside, Hebron and Mardela.
Officials say smoke alarms were present and working at the time of arrival. Reports say the loss of dwelling is estimated around $50,000.
