Overnight crash kills Preston man

A Preston man was killed during an overnight single-vehicle crash in Hebron.

Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, state troopers responded to the area of Route 50 and Memory Gardens Lane for a reported vehicle collision. 

According to authorities, 67-year-old Norris Lawrence was traveling westbound on his Kawasaki motorcycle approaching a construction zone in the area when he lost control and was ejected from his motorcycle.

Police say Lawrence sustained injuries and was declared dead on the scene.

No other vehicles appear to have been involved in the collision, according to troopers.
