Olds leads Warriors to win over Parkside

Garrett Olds scored 5 goals, including 3 in a span of 2 and a half minutes to push Easton over Parkside, 15-7 Friday afternoon in Warrior Stadium.

After a couple of great saves by Parkside goalie Nate Grudzien, Easton would get on the board thanks to a great goal by attack Sam Phillips. Phillips cut right to left behind the goal, came around and absorbed contact from a defender and shot low while falling, to give Easton a 1-0 lead.

The route would be on from there as Phillips would score again just 28 seconds later, then Olds’ streak began. A scoreless game almost 10 minutes in, turned into a 6-0 game less than three minutes after that with 2 goals by Phillips, 3 by Olds, and one by Trent Witte. Parkside would finish the game strong, scoring 7 goals before the final hon, but it was not enough.
